STRATEGIA DESIGN CREATES 2nd AWARD WINNING PRIVATE LABEL PACKAGE
Fairfax, VA March 18, 2010—Strategia Design, a leading product packaging design and brand consultancy firm, announced today that one of their most recent designs for the West Coast retailer Smart & Final, is a Private Label Marketing Association (PLMA) Salute to Excellence Award winner in the natural foods category.

The award was given for the retailer’s new Sun Harvest Wildflower Honey. The packaging created by Strategia Design features a newly designed illustrated logo, with warm, appealing colors.
“We’re especially honored to have this design called out for special recognition by PLMA at the recent Chicago Private Label show,” says Deborah Ginsburg, Strategia’s owner and CEO. “This is the second award for Smart and Final’s Henry’s Farmer’s Market line, and it shows that our rebranded designs are turning heads. We worked closely with company executives and our production partner, Marketing By Design, to create the new Sun Harvest brand, logo and product packaging.”

Strategia Design’s team of product packaging design experts is also responsible for Smart and Final’s new First Street line of products.
“Private label will continue to help keep retailers profitable as consumers look for both quality and value.” says Ginsburg. “Our Sun Harvest brand product designs are communicating both of those sentiments and creating loyal customers for Henry’s.”

Strategia Design wants to share a slice of news…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Strategia Design has just designed over 1,200 skus for West Coast retailer Smart & Final’s First Street and Henry’s Farmers Market Sun Harvest brands.
Our collaboration was a hit. Our designs were first rate. And our frozen pizza box design won a Private Label Buyer magazine’s 2009 Private Label Packaging Award for Smart & Final.
The award was given for the retailer’s new Sun Harvest line of frozen pizzas.  Strategia Design created the brand, updated photography, and developed a package with warm, appealing colors and lots of taste appeal.
Going to be at PLMA this year? If so, please stop by to see our partner, Marketing
By Design, a design studio that partners with mainstream, natural and organic and private label companies. They brought us in to develop and lead the branding and design effort for Smart & Final and will have packaging samples on display at
their booth.
Deborah Ginsburg, President and owner of Strategia Design will be attending PLMA as a special press correspondent for Private Label Magazine. She will be exploring manufacturing and branding trends in the private label industry.
